So you want to be a good ultimate player? Buy this book. Read it. Know it. Do it. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It lays down the fundamentals in a straightforward manner. How does this book fit in with the playbook? The Parinella and Zaslow book describes the fundamentals of good ultimate. The playbook reinforces some of those fundamentals, but really is a description of the offensive and defensive systems used at Rutgers, built upon the foundation of the fundamentals described in this book. The playbook and this book fully compliment each other.
