Mid semester doldrums
Hey, it the middle of the semester and
everybody's feeling a little "blah". Even your instructors get the mid-semester
blahs. Trust me. I know this past weekend was a let down, and then there was
shitty weather that cancelled Tuesdays practice. Over the the course of a long
season there will be ups and downs that will test your mental strength. It's
cold and it's windy outside, but make time to get out there and throw. If you
can throw successfully in this weather your can throw successfully anytime. Get
in the gym and work out too. Studies have shown that people engaging in
physically activity do better in school that those who do not. It also helps
break up the doldrums. As the nice fall weather wanes, it's easy to stop making
time for ultimate related activities. I encourage you not to let this happen.
I'll be working out at the powergym in the College Ave. Gym tonight from
8:30-10:00pm.
