often want to know whether I handle corporate
assignments as well as the independent stuff. The answer is
yes, and my work in the area to date has included the
following:
- Media
training and consultancy: in which I brief
companies on how to talk to the press, what we're likely
to be after and how to establish your agenda without
ending up on the cutting room floor. You can find

Institute of Public Relations. Do have a look if you're

- Government
work A number of projects for
the Department of Trade and Industry's UK online for
business scheme, including white papers on supply chain
management and numerous case studies for the website and
publication elsewhere.
- White
papers: white paper on XML
technology for Squaresum, for example.
- Publicity
materials: Including Sage's recent
guides for small business, which get sent out to everyone
enquiring about the company's products but which remain
refreshingly product-plug free.
- Ghost
writing of opinion pieces where
required.
- Company
newsletters, both internal and
external content. For example I edited a couple of issues
of Telewest's "Business Outlook" magazine.
