So much for the sales pitch—how much does my media training session cost? And how long is that piece of string?
Pricing will vary depending on who you are - small charities will attract a different rate from multinationals, for example. For the most part charges will vary depending on a client's individual requirements. The pattern is that we'll have a discussion, establish what you need and if you wish to go ahead we book a date and I'll issue a non-refundable invoice for 30 per cent of the fee. If you need to reschedule that's fine, the 25 per cent can be offset against the new date.
The basic costs would include the following:
- Half-day or full-day session including elementary pre-event consultation ('elementary' in this case includes working up an agenda by e-mail and phone and preparing PowerPoint slides to support it)
- Participation in existing events is a separate issue and prices are by arrangement
- Please note that if an event requires me to travel and takes up a day of my time you will be charged for a full day. I am based in South East London. Rates for days and half days will be assessed once I have an idea of your exact needs
- I can arrange a video camera and playback facilities at extra cost if you want to see yourself performing 'in the flesh', which can be valuable.
