Yes. Guilty. I was the lead person behind the first PHP marathon . Frankly, I had one of the best week ends ever during the marathon. I was very glad to sponsor some of the prizes myself. Every participant did his very best with some terrific results. In fact the task was not easy
and the time was the real enemy. That said, the next marathon in March will be even better, hopefully I learned something from this experience.

The best reward was meeting some new amazing programmers, some of them are really unique. Too bad that in the PHP world there are few events rewarding these talents.
