Starting to prepare my imminent relocation, did it happened to you ? It could...

Apparently I will need to relocate for a number of reasons, or to put it in a fancy way to "maximize my career opportunities".

I will be moving to a small city in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. I have been here moving up and down for the last year and perhaps moving would be a good change.

The issue is that I don't know a lot of people here. Not a lot of social life :( oddly enough even at my current home I have very little social activity beside my family (meaning my parents and my brother). So..it should not change that much =)

I will be around 9 hours (train trip) from my hometown so getting back from time to time should not be an issue, but still I am not 100% ready yet. I will be looking at some apartments tomorrow. The price range here is from 600 Swiss Francs for a small studio (one room) to 900-1000 Swiss Francs for a 2-3 rooms apartment.

Perhaps after moving I will get to know more people. Afterall at home I never get the chance to meet anyone interesting so here should be better. Oh well...today was a no day as I woke up too late (2 PM ?? went to bed at 5) perhaps tomorrow I will see things in a better way. I hope I could see some nice places tomorrow.
