Merry Christmas from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders!
Jesus is the Reason for the Season our hallway says,
but do we let the little things get us down? We are
studying Job in our religion class and are
amazed at how strong he was when he lost
everything that he had. He didn't let the little
things, like family, servants, livestock and crops
being lost and destoyed take away his faith in
God. "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away." We
were happy to hear that the Lord restored his
blessings "more than before." If you live your
life with that attitude, we see God's blessings a
little better.
Our multiplying and division skills are growing in the 3rd and 4th grade, and our adding and subtracting skills are being polished in the 2nd grade. Second graders are beginning to write in cursive also. Some of us are pretty good at it too!
Our voices are ringing, as are the chimes and the instruments, as we prepare them for the Christmas concert that we will be singing in on the last Advent service. Listening to the children sing, does remind me of angels that glorify the Newborn King on that first Christmas night. May Jesus be in your home this Christmas and always - Mrs. Garman
