This is a picture of the old kitchen. The cabinets were custom made but were too small (only 24" tall) and we needed more room. Also, the cabinets above and below the coffee machine, on the left of the picture, were postitioned so that they point forward and to the right leaving the corner empty. (Waste of space) Above the cabinets, but not in the picture, was a 12" tall sofet.

The First step was to demolish the old kitchen. Once the cabinets were removed, some of the drywall needed to be replaced. When we looked behind the drywall we found that there was no insultation!! Since we already had some of the drywall down, we decided it would be wiser to just tear it all down, put some insulation in, and replace it all.

At this point, the insulation has been installed and the new drywall put up. The new ceramic tile has also been installed. We also noticed a draft comming from around the window and decided to seal that up with Great Stuff.

The cabinets are starting to go in!! It's starting to look like a kitchen again.
The counter top, sink and dishwasher are now in. The kitchen is now fully finctional. All that is left is to add the trim and some minor electrical items.
