In its fifth year, Goods from the Woods (GFTW) is incorporated as a program of the Minnesota Wood Education Project. The 2007 Workshop Series features a variety of classes for artisans and the general public such as Knife Making Workshop and Birch Box Workshop with Ramon Persson, a Swedish master artisan and instructor.		"A great outlet for the very unique artisan and for the public -- it allows access to work we otherwise could not see." ~ A marketplace visitor The 'Up North' Marketplace is now a premier event showcasing the unique and outstanding work of northern Minnesota's forest-based artists and producers. Since 2003, the Marketplace has drawn more than 20,000 visitors.
