Tracks

A track is a collection of events that has a single instrument, tempo, time signature, and root string notes for each of the strings. Track settings can be set using the Track->Track Settings... menu item.

Playing a track can be done at any time by pressing the spacebar as long as you do not have your selection in any chord or lyric text. The CMD SPACEBAR key command always works.

A range of events in the track can be played using the Edit->Mark In and Edit->Mark Out menu items, using Track->Play In-Out.

Tempo can be modified at any time using the tempo slider in the upper right hand corner of the GuitarTab window. Exact control over the tempo value can be obtained by using the Track->Track Settings... menu item and setting the tempo by typing it in the dialog.
