MIDI Export

MIDI export is a new feature for GuitarTab and will allow you to export a MIDI file of your tablature for use in other programs. Sequencers and scoring program may be able to print out your composition! MIDI Export is available only to registered users.

MIDI export has some things that users need to be aware of and the MIDI export dialog will explain these details as you are exporting. Tablature can be exported to a single channel or each string can be exported to a single channel to maintain the ability to have individual strings that have differing bends and bend amounts in the same event.

A MIDI file of type 0 is created which contains data on a single channel, or 6 channels. Tempo and time signature information is also saved to the MIDI file.
