A fret refers to a single note entry on a single string. Each fret can have
effects applied to it that are unique to each fret such as bends, slides,
ties, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and vibrato. Actions that are specific to frets are located
in the Fret menu in the menu bar.
Effects can be applied to a single fret by first selecting a fret number, then
clicking on one of the icon buttons shown below or select the equivalent menu
item from the Fret menu in the menu bar.
