Events

An event is a collection of 6 frets (along with each fret's effects) that includes the text above and below the event. Each event has a duration, and all frets in that event will have the same duration (unless an effect is applied to that fret that shortens the duration). To make events that have notes with differing durations, you will have to make two events, and tie the frets from one event to the frets of the next event. Actions that are specific to events are located in the Event menu in the menu bar and buttons that apply to events are described below.

Events can be cut, copied and pasted using the Edit->Cut Event or Edit->Copy Event and Edit->Paste from the menubar.

Multiple events can be cut, copied and pasted by marking a range of events using the Edit->Mark In and Edit->Mark Out menu items, then using Edit->Cut All Marked Events or Edit->Copy All Marked Events and Edit->Paste.
