Quit yer whining


And start Wining! Today our local paper had a nice article about the local wine scene in frozen North Dakota and yours truly was featured in the photo. What an honor.

I really love wine, almost all wine. I love big bold red wines, and I love crisp acidic white wines. I enjoy making them, tasting them, and even over indulging in them. I have even started a chapter of the American Wine Society here in Fargo.

As Julia Child said, “Wine is a living liquid containing no preservatives. Its life cycle comprises youth, maturity, old age, and death. When not treated with reasonable respect, it will sicken and die.”

So, I was pleased as punch when the newspaper wanted to do a story on local wine appreciation.
