Gobble Gobble

Like many of you, I was home eating turkey yesterday while things were happening around the world. These turkeys seem to have been spared this year.

While I was drowning my garlic mashed potatoes with gravy, the US and others turned their backs on global warming . When will our administration get its head out of the oil well and wake up to the environmental disasters it is creating. Hello - the Kyoto treaty may not have been great for your pocketbooks, but it was a good thing for our children. *sigh*

Thank goodness someone in congress tries to read the bills they pass. Way to go KENT!!! I think we need to read a bit more. There's lots of other questionable funding being passed. I love the republican double standards. What's not good for the democratic goose is certainly good for the republican gander. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Looks like big cuts in student financial aid on the horizon. I guess some may see that as ok since the number of blacks going to college is at a record low. Rich white kids don't need federal aid.

An finally, watch out what you print, the government is watching!

All right everyone. It's the day after Thanksgiving! GO SHOPPING already.
