We can all make a difference if we would just start doing something. Yesterday I did . . how about you?

If you've read through my blog at all, you know I keep spouting off about hypocrisy. It is one thing to throw up a bunch of crap on the web and shout out about how the world is going to hell as I have been doing. But, if that's all I do, then I would be a flaming hypocrite. If you feel strongly about making changes in this world, you have to get off your ass and do something. Yesterday I attended our District 11 Democrats reorganization meeting. While I have occasionally helped out stuffing envelopes and working on fundraisers, I have never attended a district meeting before. I was elected vice-chair of the organization. What I found was a group desperate for help and now I am one of the leaders. I'm sure in your communities there are similar groups that need help. Whatever party you are in or whatever organization you are passionate about . . GO to the meetings and participate! You can make a difference.
