Blister in the Sun

I mean, the Mother of All Blisters. This is what happens if you traipse around the poison ivy ridden wilderness that is the east boundary of our property in shorts and no socks. D'oh! I got this massive marble-like blister that just keeps ballooning. Fortunately, it was only this one small spot. The itching ended in about a day (it happened about five days ago) and this thing doesn't really hurt unless pressed. I'm soooooo tempted to pop it, but that might risk infection. So, I dowse it in calamine lotion to keep it dry when it starts "weeping" as it should begin to do at any time. It better be off me before I leave for Okinawa in two weeks.
