Ruth's body is 42 years old today. We had a party
for it. I baked the cake; Safa decorated it; we all ate it. Besides earrings, a
book on Chinese medicine packaging, sandals, and a candle, she also got a new
porch swing that'll double as a Father's Day gift for me (as I depart for
Okinawa on Father's Day...)
