Bacteria

Well, so much for goyablog being chock full o' nutrients for a long and healthy life. Bacteria derailed goyaboy this week, as Safa developed strep throat on Wednesday and threw work and play schedules all out of whack. Ruth and I played ping pong with Safa, handing her off one to the other in a desperate attempt to still get work done. All the while we both have been operating on little sleep and borderline illness. I don't know which is more insidious: viruses or bacteria . Maybe viruses. At least with bacteria there are antibiotics that kill them. With a virus the doctor says "Hmm... looks viral. Go home and wait it out." Safa's two days into amoxicillin and is already showing improvement. On the other hand it was bacteria that messed up my father to the point of paralysis (and that's the least of his problems now).
