JOIN The VFP National "STOP THE WAR" MEDIA TEAM:

The Spirit is a 1969 Gillig 35' former school bus. It has a 3208 Cat V8 Diesel with a 5 speed trans. Our Chapter 22 of Veterans for Peace purchased this bus from Patrick K Young, of the wheel chair bus project of Fresno.  It's trusty and steady and we love our Peace Bus. We've taken good care of it since 1998.

We've driven this bus on many missions around North America. We've taken folks to the WTO Seattle, to Chiapas Mexico with Pastors for Peace, to the School of Americas in Ft Benning, GA. We've driven other Gilligs on other peace missions including the Kosovo Peace Bus Tour.

For this VFP Stop the War National Bus Tour, we will outfit the bus with seating and sleeping bunks for ten riders. It will still be crowded. We are registered and insured as a motorhome.

So you want to get involved, that is great. We appreciate your efforts to help.
