Sometimes you know exactly who your audience is and why
they will watch your film.
The balance can then be tilted further away from
entertainment that delivers information and more towards
information delivered in an entertaining manner.
When making this type of film, communication, the ability
to see other people's point-of-view and the ability to work
with them is high on the list of priorities.
As well as making films I have studied business and
international marketing. I have put together large
international co-productions and negotiated at the highest
level in the television industry. I have also swept factory
floors, installed central heating, started an arts
organisation, captained a rowing club and sailed across the
Atlantic three times.
I enjoy working with people from all walks of life.
