If
you order a 36' model, your new garage slab
will provide the right space to bolt down a safe room for
your family, and still have plenty of room for 2 large vehicles.
You will be 3/4 of the way to having a federally approved
tornado safe room.This
will work best if you plan to place your garage near your
bedrooms. If you plan to finance your garage, for instance
in a home improvement type loan, be sure to include the
safe room in the loan. The price will depend on the number
of people in your family (about 5 sq. feet per person needed),
and which of the approved materials you choose. (This partially
depends on the wind area in which you live.)
