Born: 2/20/97
July 2009-Skye is almost 12 1/2 and enjoys spending his days retrieving bumpers, trainng in the building and cuddling! He is my heart!
2007: I PROUDLY ANNOUNCE THAT SKYE HAS EARNED HIS OUTSTANDING SIRE!! He is passing on his good looks, structure and talent to the pups he has sired!
SKYE WINS THE HUNTING RETRIEVER CLASS AT THE 2006 NATIONAL SPECIALTY AND MAKES THE CUT IN BOB!!! AT THE AGE OF 9 1/2!!
2005 National Specialty: Skye Made the Cut in the Am Bred class, placed 2nd in Hunting Retriever and earned a UDX leg-We had a great time!!
NEWS FLASH: Skye makes breed history by becoming the first CH ptd. OTCH/MH after winning the Open Dog Class at Lebanon Indiana on Sept. 10. 2004. He also took Best of Winners!!
He is now a VCX dog!

Junior Hunter at 19 mos.;CKC CD (Dog World Award) at 27 mos.;Senior Hunter at 28 mos. ;(4/5)AKC CD Average score 196 (8/8)AKC CDX Dog World Award (9/9);UKC CD High in Trial (4/4); AKC UD, UKC CDX 2000 GRCA Nationals: 1st Graduate Novice, 1st Open A, Highest Scoring Dog with a Hunting Title; June 2002 Master Hunter (owner handled/trained); July 2002 WCX; Aug.2002 UDX with two High Combined and one High in Trial; CVGRC Altair Award for Highest Average scoring Obedience Dog for 2001.
May 2003 Skye earned his Obedience Trial Championship (OTCH)!! Earning several High in Trial and High Combined awards.
Skye is truely a multi-purpose golden which is evident in his appearance, intelligence, and temperament. He is a very willing worker and always strives to please. He loves retrieving bumpers and birds and is an excellent handling dog. His golden temperament shines during each visit to my second grade classroom where he never tires of being petted!
More great news! Skye placed 1st in the Novice Dog class at the 2003 GRCA National Specialty! He was also awarded the Troy Trophy. Skye finished his NA title with a first place shortly after his win in conformation. It was an awesome National Specialty!!
Skye is a new U-UD and also earned his NAJ title! On to tracking.
Skye is passing on his intelligence, good looks and temperament to his puppies!
