Note: This was publicity for a show in 2005. Neke Carson presents in association with Michael Wiener "Live" in the back room of The Gallery 7 East 27th St. ( between Fifth and Madison Ave.) NY Jim C. aka James Cornwell, cutting-edge multimedia artist, musician, painter and writer - an instrumental player in the East Village Art Scene of the 1980s. His Nada Gallery was integral to the art movement centered around Rivington Street, better known in some circles as the "Rivington School." Jim C.'s video is produced on location in real time (VJ work), combining organic abstraction with electronically treated archival footage and sound.
