Liberals DO Get It . . . Saddam Was A Bad Guy, OK?

In his book "Misunderestimated" about the presidency of George W. Bush, conservative Bill Sammon dedicates an entire chapter to the biography of the evil dictator Saddam Hussein. This play by play of the guys life is his entire argument to justify the war in Iraq.

This is the only argument I have heard from Republicans to defend the war, that Saddam Hussein is a bad, bad man. He needed to be ousted to make the life of his citizens better. (Or at least this is the argument that they are pretending they have been making to justify the war after the truth about the WMD's came out.)

Meanwhile, David Horowitz on the Dennis Miller show 08/31/04 - said that Democrats don’t have an answer to the question “If Saddam was still in power why wouldn’t the world be a more dangerous place than it is today?

Ok, David and all of your cronies out there, I am going to say this one time . . . very clearly so you can understand, since it seems to be a problem for you. DEMOCRATS HATE TERRORISTS TOO! I know, it's shocking, but wait there's more, DEMOCRATS THINK SADDAM HUSSEIN IS AN EVIL MAN. I know, crazy huh. Guess who else we think is evil? (you think I'm going to say Bush right? Ha, no David, he's too stupid to be truly evil.) No, we also think KIM JONG-IL IS EVIL.

I'm sad though because President Bush doesn't seem to think he is evil, even though he starves and tortures his people. President Bush also doesn't seem to think that North Korea is a viable threat to the US, like Iraq was, even though he has nuclear weapons and has threatened us directly. I'm just a little curious why, of all of the many baddies in the world, Saddam got picked as the clear away winner, the baddest of the bad? Just curious.

The world is a far more dangerous place for everyone after Iraq, whose air space was controlled and was burdened with heavy sanctions, suddenly became a "liberated" cesspool of anarchy, chaos, and insurgent rebellion. 10,000 - 15,000 civilians have died. Osama Bin Ladin got George Bush to play right into his hands, and can point to the US in an occupying force in a muslim country to get new recruits. By ousting Saddam without giving the after plan much thought, George W. Bush has picked off a scab that will will take a very long time to heal, and not before spilling a lot more blood.
