"Hair, Beard & Wig" is yet another of my flights into pseudo-Indian music. Except this time there's a bit of rural blues mixed in as well. I was thinking of Alan Lomax's recordings, Son House, and the hours of Indian music that I’ve slowly absorbed over time.

From a technical point of view, the instrument was created with MetaSynth 4 and is completely imaginary. No samples were used in its creation. The prime mover was a painted note in the Image Synth, then moved to the Spectrum Synth and processed into an instrument. Other tricks were done in the Effects Room centered around the Shuffler and (if I recall correctly) Harmonics.
