NOTEWORTHY WOMEN

New women's community choir started 4 November 2009 and singing an eclectic range of 3 and 4-part songs.

Friendly and informal - no need to be able to read music and no choir experience necessary - CDs (or mp3s) provided for help in learning the songs.

Rehearsals: 7.30-9.30pm term-time Wednesdays at Baildon Community Link, 35 Cliffe Avenue, Baildon, BD17 6NX (map). The building is wheelchair accessible, it has its own small car-park and there is also easy street parking.

Charge: £17 per half term, less if you join later than Week 2, and everyone is welcome to come to 2 sessions before committing to the choir and paying.

Currently (27 November) 46 women signed up and we'd be very pleased to see some more women with low voices. The first performance will be on 17 January 2010 at Bradford Music Club.
