THIRTEENTH GENERATION

Michel BOUDROT was born in 1601 in Cougnes, La Rochelle, France. He died about 1686 in Port Royal, Acadie. Michel and Michelle arrived in Acadie before 1639. In the 1671 census of Port Royal he is listed as a plowman having eight arpents of cleared land. The 1678 census shows him on 12 arpents of cultivated land, with wife and two sons. At that time he was Counselor and Lieutenant General of Acadie, headquartered at Port Royal, and was also Judge of that settlement. Michel and Michelle were the parents of eleven children, all born at Port Royal.

He was married to Michelle AUCOIN in 1640 in Cougnes, La Rochelle, France. Michelle AUCOIN was born in 1618 in La Rochelle, France. She died on 18 Dec 1706 in Port Royal, Acadie. Children were:

• Francoise Boudrot was born in 1642 in Port Royal, Acadie.
• Marguerite Boudrot was born in 1648 in Port Royal, Acadie.
• Charles Boudrot was born in 1649 in Port Royal, Acadie.
• Marie Boudrot was born in 1653 in Port Royal, Acadie.
• Jean Boudrot was born in 1656 in Port Royal, Acadie.
• Michel Boudrot Lt. Gov. was born in 1660 in Port Royal, Acadie. He died in, Acadie.
• Olivier Boudrot was born in 1661 in Port Royal, Acadie.
• Abraham Boudrot was born in 1663 in Port Royal, Acadie.
• Claude Boudrot Sr. was born in 1648 in Port Royal, Acadie. Bona Arseneault.
• François Boudrot was born in 1666 in Port Royal, Acadie.
