Not only did my bread look like a prop off a film set (cold, hard, stale), it tasted like it. Ok, it didn't taste that stale- in fact, my guess is that the bread was baked the day before, but it was cold and way too crusty. The insides were just barely acceptable in terms of texture, but the flavor was clearly below mediocre. Wasted calories.
