Fragments of ancient fabrics and images on pottery unearthed by archeologists reveal the activity of weaving throughout human history. Just as early weavers satisfied the functional and decorative needs of their home environments, I enjoy creating textiles that are both useful and beautiful. Inspired by the colors and textures of nature, I use fibers and patterns appropriate to the intended use of the finished cloth. I hope that my blankets, table linens, shawls and scarves will provide comfort and enjoyment - and become special heirlooms for your family and friends. |
