Welcome To Our Wedding Website!

Our Engagement Party

After six wonderful years together, Jack and I are looking forward to tying the knot & welcoming the wedded bliss that all our friends keep raving about. To keep all our loved ones, near and far, up to date on the who, what and when of our nuptials, we've put together this little site with information that will hopefully be helpful. For all of you who will be coming in from out of town, we have rooms reserved and travel suggestions listed.

We would love to receive messages in our Guestbook from anyone compelled to do so. Please check back often as we will be making frequent updates to the website as the plan progress.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone next winter. Thank you to all of our friends and family for supporting us and loving us over the years.

Love always, Gina & Jack

Thank you all for a great wedding - actually the Best Wedding Ever! Seriously, we hope you all had as much fun as we did. Of course, now I'm eager to collect photographs so if you were snapping away I would be forever grateful if you could share them.

We just got home from Costa Rica and it was great! Rapelling down waterfalls, zipping through the top of the rainforest canopy, horseback riding (btw - not doing that again), sailing, snorkeling - and lots and lots of monkeys! Pictures will be uploaded to my blog soon. So again, we wish we could have spent more time with ya'll, and the night seemed to fly, so hopefully there will be more ocassions to get together soon!

So close. Everythings' pretty much done, except for a few last minute details, so we hope you have your party shoes ready to rock out on Saturday. Can't wait to see you all, and it looks like we've missed out on the blizzard.

Countdown Minus 30. Today was also the cutoff for room reservations at the hotel, so if you're thinking of tying one on and don't want to drive, book now, otherwise they may not be able to hold the group rate. Call me if you have problems and I'll give them a little "family" talk. As for the rest of the plans, they are coming along swimmingly. Honeymoon is fully booked, dress fittings have been going nicely, and I had a lovely talk with our photographer today and am very excited! Check out the events page for updates to the weekend wonders and we'll see you soon. Merry Christmas.

Ok. Time is flying - only 2 months to go, and it's going to be here before I know it. Invitations are on their way, but took a bit longer than expected - but what else do I get for trying to design them myselves when I know just enough to be dangerous. As for activities, here's the scoop. For all those coming into town on Friday night, we will be meeting up at the bar in the Nassau Inn at 9. I hope you will join us since we don't see you all that often, and want to see you. And if you make it in really early on Friday, we'll be heading over to the Bent Spoon for some ice cream around 4. I encourage everyone to try them, they are awesome (just had the Bourbon Sea Salt Caramel and the Chocolate Orange - oh, yum)

Thank you to all who "showered" me last weekend too! It was really exciting to finally begin to feel like a bride. So looking forward to a big 'ol party this winter - hope you are too!

Well, the past two months have been busy. And not so much wedding-wise, but my major work event is over and Jack's coming home soon so it should be easier for the next 100 or so days! Oh, and we finally picked a honeymoon locale - we're off to Costa Rica! Some beach time, some flying through the rainforest and some nice relaxing mellow time. Can't wait.

Jack had his "summer break" before heading off the the UK so it's been an intense wedding packed July. Engagement photos were taken, and one of these days I'll post a few. Love our photographer, very happy we found him (thanks Ant & Vikki). At this point all our vendors are booked, we had our tasting, did a site visit, met with our officiant and began writing the ceremony. A visit to Little King, (who designed my engagement ring) got us started on our wedding bands. Honeymoon is still leaving us confused, but that's next on the list to accomplish. Starting to firm up the events around the wedding, and will be posting them shortly as well. Just 5 more months to go!

Planning is going along, thanks everyone for listening to my "should it be ivory or ecru" ramblings. Jack is still enjoying life on the road, and will enjoy it even more while he travels through England, Ireland, Scotland and France this fall! But he should be home at least 3 weeks before the wedding so I'm not panicking (really, I'm not). In other happy news I bought my dress and we've got appointments for the tasting, time to meet with our officiant, scheduled some engagement photo sittings and all in all have gotten things under control, maybe.

Well, since life was getting too boring with just me changing jobs, moving and wedding planning, Jack decided he wanted in on the fun too. And to make it really fun he's going on tour. So while he's exploring North America with "Dora", I'll be baking cookies and choosing flowers.
