Browse the movie content

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to browse a movie like you do with a book? Or to have an index to start your search from?

Search Pane SimpleMovieX

SimpleMovieX has a powerful Search Pane that generates an index of the selected sequence. Divided in 16 or 64 frames, it gives an overview of what the movie contains.

It can be used to find commercials inside a long movie, to detect the beginning and the end of a TV program, or to quickly do logging and selection for a rough cut.

16 or 64 frames?

If you are looking for commercials inside a TV program or a movie, a safe bet is to scan by half hours with 16 frames, or 2 hours with 64 frames. In both cases, you get one frame every 2 minutes, and a commercial break will certainly last more than that, so you'll catch it.

16 or 64 ? It's a question of taste, and of visual confort.
