The batch converter can convert a list of files to a new format. It tells you how much time and disk space is needed to complete the operation.
All the export formats supported by QuickTime are available, including iPod MPEG-4, DivX and WMV if you have installed the corresponding codecs.

Unlike QuickTime Pro, SimpleMovieX can do basic editing with MPEG footage. You won't win an oscar, but it meets most people needs. It's fast to save and doesn't loose quality as media is not re-encoded.

SimpleMovieX makes it very easy to
re-synchronize a movie. With a left and a right arrow you advance or delay the audio until it matches the video.
