This Site is intended to foster a dialog on Baha’i education and to serve as a template for a Baha’i inspired Elementary School.

I have started this project after reading the following phrase in "Century of Light".

"The Power that the Cause possesses to influence the course of history thus lies not only in the spiritual potency of it's message but in the example it provides"

Education, particularly in the west, is in a state of turmoil. The general populace as well as those involved in education are well aware of the problems facing them, but desperately need an example to follow.

The Baha'i Faith and it's more balanced view of human development and educational teachings can without question provide this much needed example.

The time is ripe, I feel, for communities to begin thinking of creatingeducational institutions that will not only assist in raising our own children to be stronger, spiritual adults but also impact on the society where they are located.

This web page is the result of my own ideas and represents a starting place for the development of just such an institution.

Please feel free to add comments, suggest changes and ask qquestions via the messageboard link. I would like to see this develop as not only potential "real" schools but also as an open source project that will grow and develop with time.

It is not intended to be a complete plan but a place from which Baha’i communities may start when considering such a project.

I am, of course happy to share what I have done with anyone interested but only ask that the copyright information be included with this file in whatever form it is distributed. In that way, I will be able to be contacted and hear suggestions for revision.
