How your Medicaid tax dollars saved a life...mine!
There's a lot of talk these days about
cutting Medicaid costs because they have "spiraled out of control." Most of the
cuts being proposed would be disastrous for people on Medicaid. For many,
including me, it would make life miserable. And potentially unbearable. I
thought people might like to know how their Medicaid tax dollars saved a
life...mine! And how that had a profound rippling effect on other people's
lives. So I made a movie about it!
I made this movie from the audio recording of the
speech I gave at the Medicaid Matters Forum in Rochester, New York, on March 12,
2005, and from some of my artwork and personal
photos.
There are a few things I would like to change on this -- particularly the titles. But time is of the essence, so I will post this here now & make the improvements later.

My name is Georgia NeSmith. "Random Acts of Love" is my weblog, but I have numerous other websites you can link to through this blog.
