Thought I'd throw together a list of Artists that
I've brought in and or discussed in class. I know many of you made notes of
these guys and are ahead of the curve. But for those who did not take notes,
here's some of the names — though the list continues to grow (more to
come).
I've not distinguished between
painters and illustrators here. But I have put most comic artists under
draughtsmen, as they're mostly working in pen and ink. Some of the two lists
overlap as several of the artists were adept at more than one discipline. These
are also only in a very cursory
order.
