1995 George Melvin: Live From Boar's Head Inn This album contains five standard tunes and five originals (noted *). Recorded live at the BHI Terrace Lounge in 1995, it was digitally remastered at Major Recording Studio in Waynesboro to give the finest quality of sound. In this recording George provides what we call his "Group Sound", supported by a drummer, Phil Riddle. The "Group Sound" is grand piano, with two keyboards to provide other complimentary instrumental voices such as upright bass, guitar, horns, vibes. |

1996 Blue Indigo: Catwalk This album features George Melvin playing classically styled jazz on the Hammond B-3 organ with the jazz quartet known as Blue Indigo. The ten tunes are delightful original compositions by Sal Soghoian, the group's guitarist. The album also features the talents of Phil Riddle on drums and Jeff Decker on sax.

2001 George Melvin: Love Notes This is George's first recording using the equipment in his home recording studio, and it is of a comparable sound quality with those recorded in professional studios. The music is produced on a Kurzweil Mark 110 Electronic Piano, which produces extremely realistic percussion and instrumental voices. This album was released for Valentine's Day, and includes standard love ballads, except for the last tune - a song George wrote for his wife. What a perfectly romantic gift!

2002 George Melvin: Smooth Released early in 2002, this album contains both standard and original (*) tunes, again featuring the Kurzweil 110 piano. Some of the standard tunes are more contemporary in source, but the overall tone of the album is warm andÉ well, smooth!

2003 George Melvin: It's Very Clear There are so many wonderful love ballads, and Valentine's Day begs a new recording of some of them. These are also done using the Kurzweil 110 piano's exceptional group of instrumental and percussion voices.

2004 George Melvin & Miss Lucy: It's About Time After four recordings featuring the Mark 112i, Miss Lucy put her pedals down! She said, "It's about time for ME to be the star!" George knows better than to argue with a lady as big as Miss Lucy, and this excellent "smooth jazz" recording is the result! Once again, tunes marked with an * are George's original music.

2003 Barbara Edwards: It's Between Him and Me (Songs marked with *, original copywritten songs, Barbara Edwards, 2003) This is a privately copywritten project by Barbara S. Edwards, included here because it is an excellent example of George's collaboration and music composition for a client. It was produced in its entirety in George Melvin's home-based studio. Barbara wrote the lyrics, and came to the studio with some melodies in her head. Several sessions later this excellent recording was completed, mixed, mastered and sent off for manufacturing. This is also an excellent example of George's understanding of and skill at creating gospel music - one of his less frequently requested genres of music. Copies of this CD may be obtained by contacting Barbara Edwards at BlessedofGod_7@earthlink.net
