Photo Editor for Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Magazine
So Ann and I have been working on getting more
and more weddings published. One of our all time favorite editors has been
assigned a new task and moved into a new position. She took the time to create a
new relationship with the new editor. Anyways, long story short. I wanted to
share with you a email that I cut and paste. It made us smile hear in the
studio. Oh by the way. The weddings she is talking about in the email are really
geougous. I will probably post something here when it hits the stands summer
2006.
Hi Gene,
Thanks for your sweet email! I too, have really
enjoyed working with both you and Ann. You are truly talented photographers, and
I'm always amazed at the weddings you submit. If I wasn't already married, I
would definitely want you to shoot my wedding! I'm so glad that your business is
growing, but I think it has a lot to do with your hard work, determination and
sheer talent! I hope you have continued success. Please keep in touch, I still
want to know about your travels and adventures, and I really hope we can work
together in the future. I think you are going to LOVE your weddings in the
Summer 2006 issue. The layout is amazing, and your photos just pop off the page.
Personally, I think that these two weddings look the best out of all the
weddings we've ever done. Of course, I'm biased. :) I'll be sure to send you
multiple copies, as I know you're going to want to show it off. I hope that DWH
will continue to use you. Please contact Lori ASAP, if you haven't already so
you can hopefully get in the Fall issue. If you ever need anything or have any
questions.. or just want say hi, please contact me. Thanks again for everything,
you've been wonderful to work with.
Best,
Janelle
P.S. Give my best to Ann! And keep in
touch!
FYI to all my clients. You gals all have really
great events. I would love to get your weddings published. Editors love details,
great love stories and of course killer wedding photography. I will be sending
you my list of things to know for submission. Take the time before the wedding
and give me as much detail as possible.
Think about how cool it would be
to say, "If you want to see my wedding photos, get the lasted edition of ...
magazine"
