Mike and Robyn's Wedding in Cabo San Lucas, MexicoCabo San Lucas Wedding. Mike and Robyn were
planning a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas. The had a private villa for up
to 100 guest. They were both living in New York City planning the wedding. She
wanted something different in photography. So this is where Ann Hamilton
and I come in. Actually the new issue of Destination Weddings and Honeymoons
magazine has a Cabo San Lucas Wedding running this summer that Ann Hamilton
shot last year. Funny she kinda went full circle. Anyways, they rented out a
private villa for the ceremony and off to the county club in Cabo Del Sol for
the Reception. I had a blast shooting the wedding. It was a bit of a challenge
in the 90+ degree heat. But nothing a little adrenaline and water couldn't cure.
![]() Robyn's dress was custom by her best friend Melissa Halleran of Cusp Swim. The dress was definitely a labor of love. Melissa's swim wear has been featured in everything from Vouge to Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. ![]() Custom engraved rings. ![]() ![]() She wore a family veil. Passed down for generations. So this was her something old. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Weddings are filled with details. I grabbed this image during the ceremony was thinking how cool it was. Robyn and Mike can look back at this one shot and tell pretty cool story. You can see the time of the ceremony, Robyn's ring being given by Mike and the meaning of it. Robyn's bracelets and even the ring of the minister. What was his experience when he was the groom and what wonderful things being married brought him. And of course the vows that are being read. ![]() Love the frame in this shot. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ann took this shot after we got done doing some of the beach portraits. ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted: Tue - July 25, 2006 at 04:00 AM |
