Mehndi
Today Ann and I headed over to one of the best
salons in Ludhiana. There my bride Monica had for Mehndi applied. She had six
girls working on her at once. these girls were really good. Fast, clean lines
and really beautiful work. Monica waited patiently for about 2 hours for the
Mehndi to applied and will wait another 8 for it to completely dry. Tradition
says the darker the ink is the deeper your love will be. Also the more you have
on your arms and legs the more beautiful you are perceived. There is allot of
tradition happening here and we really loving it. The girls even gave me some on
my left hand. It is the OM symbol with Ginish. I hope it brings me lots of good
luck.
