07.07.07 in 7x7

People say that it was one of the luckiest days of the century to get married. According to the knot.com 36k who registered, got married over the weekend. I was to photograph a celebrity wedding down in Malibu, but unfortunately it was cancelled. Ann was lucky enough to be in Maui shooting her wedding. I decided to stay in San francisco.
It was nice to have a day off. I did absolutely, NOTHING. It felt great! Production in the studio is totally caught up. That is rare in the middle of wedding season for most. As photographers, we work 24/7 and the demands of getting everything done can be overwhelming. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining here but, I do think that it is very important that we all find balance between home and work. We will actually be better at what we do if we just take some time for ourselves and revamp.

So I have to agree 07.07.07 was a very lucky day. This shot atop of the Mayan ruins, Chichenitza shows how I feel right now.
