East and Northside Kauai road trip

Day two and we have seen so much. The northside would be where the wedding will be held. So it made sense to do a little location scouting and catch up with Tania and Kyle.

We first stopped at Kilauea Lightouse.

We found this awesome church roadside. I was thinking how cool it would be to do a wedding here.

This Hanalei Valley lookout. There is taro fields growing everywhere.

Ann kept making me do the jumping shots.

Bubbba burgers is a must stop in the small town of Hanalei. Danny Quijano gave me the tip. Danny actually has a home here, so he is kind of a local now days. I was just thinking, Danny has been a mentor to me and he really has the life that I aspire to. Great family, successful business and two homes. One in Santa Cruz and the other here. Someday. :)

Had to stop at the Hanalei surfshop and get some gear.

This was one of the lookout points.

Some of the wet tunnels.

So we headed down this dirt trail and found this amazing private beach.

Some of the lava rocks. When in hawaii, please don't take any rocks home. Very bad luck.

Blogging next to the koi pond having breakfast before the wedding today. Check back in the wedding is going to be amazing.
