Gaby & John's wedding in Palo AltoMet gaby & John about a year ago. The gal had
a amazing spirit about her and John is a amazing Pianist. They had already
contracted me for the job. They had read so many post about Ann Hamilton
and I shooting together for destination wedding. She asked if there was any
possibility that Ann and I could shoot it together. What a compliment to Ann and
luckily she was available for a wedding that weekend. I have to say shooting
with Ann
is the best. The wedding had a very south america feel, and you know
how they love to dance and party. The ceremony took place at the Mission Santa
Clara and the reception, Palo Alto Golf and Country Club. 200+ guest filled the
church and dance floor. This was a party to remember. Gaby's dad was the best.
he made sure I went home with every type of cigar from the cigar bar.

He was a real talent. He had the room in tears. ![]() ![]() ![]() Unique ideas. They had guest sign several wine bottles as they walked into the reception. ![]() ![]() Here is the email from Gaby after she got her print set delivered: Gene and Ann, Oh my f’n gosh, I wished you guys could have seen me last night when I saw the pictures for the first time....I probably looked like a lunatic…screaming with ohhh’s and ahhh’s, jumping up and down. I’m surprised the neighbors didn’t call the cops warning that there is some lady making all these crazy noises on Brentwood Drive. We absolutely adore the pictures. Looking at them, reminded me just how wonderful our wedding and how lucky we are to have such great family and families. I also needed this reminder as the past two weeks I admit I have become a bit of a bridezilla. As you probably know, most brides spend months planning their wedding, I spent 18 months and hours working out the details, selecting vendors, etc on a quest for wedding perfection. I also mentally prepared myself for the day of wedding and I was so proud of myself for remaining calm when things didn’t go as planned. I was truly in the moment and enjoyed looking into the eyes of my wonderful husband. The wedding was definitely not a blur. I savored every moment of it. The pictures reminded me of the day and how truly remarkable and beautiful it truly was. You guys captured the emotion, the happiness, the tears, the love, the culture(yes our cigar smoking culture), the details, and love of John’s music. The pictures are full of life. I’m eternally grateful. THANK YOU. Gaby-can’t wait for the day to end so I can look at the pics some more- G Posted: Sun - June 11, 2006 at 09:45 PM |
