Mom ate well today!
Went and
picked up the medicine prescribed by Hospice for Moms dry mouth and Thrush
infection. Nystatin Oral
Suspension. Need to administer a teaspoon 4
times daily.
Dinner time I had fixed Mom some Golden Breaded Fish fillet with creamy Macaroni and Cheese and Broccoli. Gee those Marie Callenders Frozen Dinners are alright. Well hey had to get a rush job out today as well so not much time to cook.
Well I ate most the fish, but she did a good job on the Macaroni and Cheese her favorite.
Chaplain Phil stopped by and gave Mom and I some communion. Nurse Sonya stopped by as well and I received a call from a Hospice volunteer offering to give me 2-3 hours on wednesdays for relief for me. I can visit Joe, buy some groceries or just chill out somewhere. Knowing me I won't want to be far or long from Mom though. It's is to close to the end and I need to be there for her.
