Catheter for Mom



Well Hospice did come by and brought a catheter for Mom so we should both get a better sleep tonight. Thanks to a friend of mine, Nancy in Ca for the moisture suggestion for Moms dry mouth. Much appreciated. I will try to locate product in the stores today.

Addendum: 10:00pm Picked up some spray called Salivart for Mom today. Seems to help her dry mouth condition considerable. It should for $10 and only 2.5 oz. it better. Also bought her a baby cup that she can hang on to at night that won't leak, and she has access to water whenever she wishes. I tell you, I needed some anxiety pills after watching poor Mom reach for the water and almost spilling the ice cold contents on her each time. The kind lady Rēnē next door watched Mom while I was getting the items.
Also put the side rails up on the bed so she cannot get out of bed easily. Just hope she remembers I told her she has a catheter and doesn't need to get up.
Trying to get Mom settled to sleep, but her active mind just keeps on going. Now she wants me to go get the mail, then I am going to bed as well. Well, there was no mail...she was disappointed.
