Moms the Same



Up at 7am sharp for Mom is in a lot of pain by then as her pain pills have worn off. Give her all her meds and a half of English Muffin and some peaches. She's down for the count again until 11am or so. Yesterday the Hospice nurse at my request will lower the anxiety pills dosage. She will give Mom a longer lasting pain pill for the evening, so she wont be in so much pain when she awakes at 7am.

Usually Mom only gets up once or twice during the night to pee and sleeps pretty soundly. The other night when I was in so much pain from the TN and was extra drugged up Mom tried to get by me and almost made it until she passed the narrow space between the TV and My bed and fell on top of me. No one was hurt, but I got up and helped her the rest of the way. Hey she has a potty thingy right next to her bed but sometimes wants the real bathroom. What can I say. That's all folks...Dave
