Guidelines for the Statisticians of ______________________ High School
I OBJECTIVES
A. To promote wrestling at ________________________ High School
B. To work at the scoretables at all matches & tournaments
C. To serve as hostesses at our home tournament
D. To educate others about the sport of wrestling
E. To promote school spirit
II MEMBERSHIP
A. Membership is open to all students-male and female-in grades 9-12.
B. Members must pay assigned dues.
C. Members are obligated to learn the scoring system associated with wrestling before the start of the season.
D. Any fund raising will be conducted by all members (i.e., selling program advertisements, bake sales).
E. Officers will be elected at the final meeting and will serve during the following season:
President - must conduct all meetings, instruct members about the scoring system, and appoint committees as needed
Vice-President - must conduct meetings in the absence of the president, serve as the chairperson for assigned committees, and assist in teaching the scoring system
Secretary - must keep the minutes of all meetings and log the progress of all committees
Treasurer - must account for the club's finances and receive and disburse all funds as needed
III REQUIREMENTS
A. Manage scorebook or bout cards at matches and/or tournaments
B. Make posters and banners for upcoming matches
C. Assist in the management of all home matches/tournaments
D. Attend meetings and matches faithfully
E. Seek sponsors/advertisers for the program and assist in the development of a program or media guide
F. Provide refreshments (i.e., oranges, sodas) for wrestlers
