Instructions and Guidelines for Wrestling Managers

RULES

1. Attend all assigned practices.

2. Attend all scheduled scrimmages and competitions.

3. Never leave the wrestling room or area without receiving permission from a coach.

4. Dress appropriately for practice and competitions.

5. Behave in an appropriate and polite manner during any practice, scrimmage, or competition.

DUTIES

1. Management and inventory of the medical kit and supplies

2. Time all wrestling matches and drill sessions during each wrestling practice. Take responsibility for blowing the whistle at selected intervals.

3. Prepare and fill ice jug before each practice and match.

4. Assist in the set up before each home meet.

5. Design and update wrestling display case.

6. Post statistics and news articles on wrestling bulletin board.

7. Assist coaches during wrestle-offs.

8. Run errands as needed (i.e., deliver forms to administration office).

9. Distribute and/or collect forms from wrestlers.

10. Assist coaching staff in any other duties related to the successful daily operation of the wrestling team.
