Takedown Autism
For Immediate Release:
The Jordan High School Wrestling Team will be attempting to help Takedown Autism through out the month of January. Jordan will be seeking pledges for the total amount of take downs the team earns or they will be accepting donations. Jordan is also challenging any companies to match the amount raised or contribute to the team's cause.
All funds will be donated to the Autism Society of North Carolina.
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) refers to a group of developmental disabilities-including classic autism, pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS), and Asperger's Syndrome-that affect a person's ability to understand what they see, hear, and otherwise sense. It is a brain disorder that impacts communication, social interaction, and behavior. (autismsociety-nc.org)
