Winnie (Wandilla Wynette), in the basket, and George (Dandy of Rio) were around in the 1940s and belong to Lynne's mum. George nearly lost an ear in a boating accident (it was caught in the propeller shaft of an inboard). When it was thought that George would die, Winnie was added to the clan, however George pulled through with flying colours. George was born in 1939 and Winnie in 1948 so they had a few years together.

George and Winnie are no longer at the Bridge. Their years of waiting came to an end when Lynne's mother returned to them in 1987 aged only 60.

Lynne's father's (Des Banwell) had two cockers Goldie and Red.

Pattie lived on until 17 years when she was run over by a car. Pattie was sired by Solvik Scallywag out of Graceville Norge in 1965.
